Kala Sangams Arts in education projects promote greater understanding and appreciation of the cultural traditions from south Asia through innovative ways and aim to increase awareness of racial, cultural and social issues. Kala Sangam has got expertise in delivering the following art forms for Foundation Stage, Key Stages 1, 2, 3, 4 & Adults:-

  • Dance (Creative movement, Folk, Contemporary, Classical etc from South Asia)
  • Music (Instrumental ,Vocal, Percussion , Fusion from Asian, African, Western, Latin American , Cuban traditions, Dj-ing )
  • Visual Arts & Craft (Calligraphy, Glass painting, Mosaics, Textiles, Jewellery making ,Sculptures, Murals, Graffiti )
  • Literature (Creative writing, Poetry, Story telling etc.)
  • Drama

Kala Sangam have gained experience in developing and delivering coherent and progressive experiences, rich in creativity, and extend the skills of problem solving, language and creative abilities of children & young people through interaction with creative practitioners.
