Kala Sangam - Bringing people together through South Asian and Interdisciplinary Arts

Kala Sangam has hosted performances at festivals across the country. Local festivals and melas range from the Bradford, Huddersfield and Leeds melas to regional festivals like the Ilkley Festival and Hull Jazz Festival. We have also performed at the world-famous WOMAD festival and the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddifod.

Art forms range from fusion and classical Indian music to folk and classical dance styles from south Asia as well as poetry in action where dance is choreographed to impromptu poetry.
