Kala Sangam - Bringing people together through South Asian and Interdisciplinary Arts

Volunteers

There are a number of volunteering opportunities at Kala Sangam.  

Volunteering with Kala Sangam is a great opportunity to see a variety of arts events, meet people, learn new skills – and become part of the vibrant arts community in Bradford.  

Our most pressing need is for Ushers and Front of House assistance for our new studio theatre.  

The main task for our ushers and front of house volunteers is to provide a welcoming face to customers. You may be selling tickets, checking people have tickets, or providing information about the performance. We also need our front of house volunteers to sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks before the event starts and during the intervals.  

Our events run mainly in the evening and usually finish about 9:30pm. A typical volunteering shift will last about 4 hours.  Full training will be given.
