Kala Sangam named as National Skills Academy Cluster Lead for new pilot project

Kala Sangam has successfully been named as one of the National Skills Academy (NSA) Cluster Leads, as part of a regional pilot to develop the NSA support networks at a regional level across the country.

“We are delighted to announce that we have selected eight organisations to act as ‘Cluster Leads’ representing the Skills Academy in their local areas. These projects are the first of a much more extensive Skills Academy presence nationwide, and we anticipate that they will help focus local knowledge on region-specific issues, particularly around apprenticeship numbers and skills development.”

On Tuesday 14th February, Kala Sangam is to host a discussion forum event at the National Media Museum for organisations interested in apprenticeships opportunities with NSA.

Local founder college, Leeds City College, will be in attendance to share information about the project. Apprentices and employers will also be in hand to present information about live case studies and to share their own experiences. There will also be opportunities to ask questions, share knowledge and gain expertise over a networking lunch.

If your organisation is interested in joining the discussions and finding out more about the support and opportunities offered by the NSA, please contact Ajit Singh on ajit@kalasangam.org or call (01274) 303340.
