In August, Kala Sangam delivered a week of activities at St Peter’s House for the children from Bradford Women’s Aid Group.

Both mothers and children got involved in dance, music, and visual arts throughout the week. The project was a great way for mums to spend time with their children having fun and creating pieces of art together to take home.

Kala Sangam also worked with the staff of BWA to organise a mid-week excursion to Bridlington, which the whole group thoroughly enjoyed. 

All the children were given a certificate at the end of the week for taking part.  The certificates were presented by Les Webb, one of Kala Sangam’s trustees, which made the occasion very special for the young people.
