Kala Sangam invites you to three exciting poetry readings and workshops run by Britain's best-known Asian poet, Debjani Chatterjee. The workshops will take inspiration from celebrations taking place during February and March, such as World Mother Language Day, Milad-un-Nabi, Holi, Purim, World Book Day and International Women's Day. Debjani has written, edited and translated over 50 books, including Namaskar, Masala and Words Spit & Splinter. Her readings and workshops are inspirational and not to be missed.

These events are for men and women of any ability. If participants already have short poems on the subjects under focus, they are welcome to bring and share these during the relevant workshop. The workshops are in English but participants may read and write in any language.
