On Novemeber 20th 2010, sisters Abi And Meena Deivanayagam, along with Dr Geetha Upadhyaya showcased a fundraiser for patients with renal failure in developing countries. This event was held at our very own St Peter's House.

They portrayed the story of Navarathri (nine nights), a Hindu festival which celebrates the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon King Mahishasur.

The story was narrated beautifully by Dr Geetha, the artistic director and the dancers told the story through Bharatha Natyam, the most famous and ancient Indian Classical dance style.

The show was a great success and together they raised just over £1000 to fund kidney transplant operations in India.
