All are welcome to the launch of this fascinating exhibition of Islamic Calligraphy on marble by local artist William A. Jordan.

The launch will take place on Wednesday 26th May from 6.00pm to 7.00pm at Kala Sangam, St Peters House, Bradford, and free tickets can be obtained by calling 01274 303340 or emailing info@kalasangam.org.

The exhibition will showcase a beautiful selection of calligraphy on marble, as well as a number of sculptures from his private collection.

William first became interested in art as a child, but went on to train in civil engineering. His work took him to Africa and the Middle East, where he set up a graphic design studio in Saudi Arabia, and it was here his interest in Islamic calligraphy took hold. After retirement, he set up a studio where he now works on his sculpture.

A self-taught artist, he has developed his own individual style, creating exquisite pieces strongly influenced by his travels. Don't miss the chance to view this unique collection.
