Kala Sangam is offering five bursaries for dancers to attend the National symposium for South Asian Dance in Leicester on Friday 28th October 2011.

The event is organised by the Centre for Indian Classical Dance (CICD), in association with Milapfest, Curve and South East Dance, and will take place at Curve in Leicester. This all-day symposium brings together dance practitioners and organisations from across the country to participate, communicate and work together to raise the profile of South Asian dance into the 21st century. The event culminates in a thrillingevening performance by Aakash Odedra, Ash Mukherjee, Sooraj Subramaniam and Revanta Sarabhai.
