Kala Sangam are delighted to present Rhythm Yatra to Bradford. The most flamboyant side of Indian classical music is often found in it’s scintillating drum beats displaying intricate and musical rhythmic patterns.  

Five internationally renowned artists come together to present a unique sound harnessing the power of percussion instruments from East and West.

Rhythm Yatra consists of versatile percussionist Banglore Prakash on mridangam, the talented and dynamic tabla artist Kousic Sen, morsing or Jewish harp player Sithambaranathan, up coming pakhawaj player Prithviraj Kumar and the multi talented percussionist Benhard Taalis on western drums and percussion. This wealth of talent combine to create a percussion ensemble never seen before in the UK - so dont miss out!
