Kala Sangam is delighted once again to present the child prodigy and Chitravina maestro Chitravina N Ravikiran. Hailed by Radio National, Australia as ‘perhaps the greatest slide instrumentalist in theworld today’, Ravikiran made headlines as the world’s youngest prodigy at the age of two (in 1969), stunning the music world.

He presented vocal concerts from age five, Chitravina recitals since 12 and performed non-stop for 24 hours when 18. Recognized in world music for his concept Melharmony, Ravikiran also has over 575 traditional music and dance compositions to his credit. He attributes all his successes to his gurus - Chitravina Narasimhan and T Brinda.

Raviji will be accompanied by the most senior and accomplished mridangist in UK K Krishnamurthy, versatile percussionist BangalorePrakash on Ghatam and Jyotsna Srikanth on violin and also Sithambaranathan on morsing.
