This month saw a visit from brilliant Leeds Young Authors' poets Khadijah Ibrahiim and Paulette Morris. The two writers worked with the group to explore notions of self, place and identity under the title “where I come from”.

In the following four sessions the young people illustrated the writing with visual artist Sajeda Hussain, before learning how to bind their writing and artwork together to make a book in a workshop led by Victoria Lucas.
